The Royal Jellyfish

In 2005, Sam and Jessie Ogden raised over $400 in honour of their grandfather, Bud, who was cared for by Victoria Hospice before his death five years ago.  Last year, the Royal Jellyfish duo raised over $2,000, up from the previous year's total of $1,600.  Way to go, Sam  and Jessie!!!

Swimathon took place May 10, 2008 at Saanich Commonwealth Place.

This year's BMO Bank of Montreal Swimathon for Victoria Hospice has raised over $125,000 so far, with more donations coming in daily. These proceeds support Victoria Hospice end-of-life services and programs, such as our 17-bed Palliative Care Unit, our Palliative Response Team, counselling and bereavement support, spiritual care for patients and their families, and education and training programs for volunteers and health care professionals.

Victoria Hospice thanks all the community partners, volunteers, teams and individuals who support Swimathon annually!

For more information about how you can get involved in Swimathon 2009, contact our Event Coordinator Sharon Stafford at (250) 952-5723.  Print this year's registration brochure or poster.
